Jake Branch County Park will host a free drive-thru holiday light display called Lighting Up Nature from Dec. 12 through Dec. 15. The event runs from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. each evening.

Families can drive through the sparkling displays without leaving their vehicles. No lines. No crowds.

The park sits at 1110 Double Trouble Road in Beachwood, and Ocean County residents can attend at no cost during the four-night event.

Light displays and decorations line the route. Visitors take a slow drive along the lit path while staying warm inside their cars, watching the twinkling scenes pass by their windows.

Families can bring holiday snacks, cookies, and hot chocolate for the ride. Kids might wear pajamas during the experience if they want.

The event format lets participants view all displays from their vehicles. No walking or outdoor time is required to see the lights, which means everyone stays cozy.

The four-day window gives families flexibility to pick which evening works best. Each night offers the same two-hour time slot, so there's no pressure to choose one specific date over another.

Free admission makes the event accessible to all families in the area. No tickets or reservations are mentioned as requirements.

Ocean County parks host the annual event at this location, and the drive-thru format has become a popular way for families to celebrate the season together without the hassle of parking and walking.

Visitors can play their own music during the drive. The self-contained car experience lets each family customize their visit however they see fit.

The December dates fall on a weekend and extend into the following Monday. Friday and Saturday nights, plus Sunday and Monday, make up the four-day run for anyone who wants to check out the lights.
