Point Pleasant has shifted its Fall Fireworks Festival to October 18 due to bad weather over last weekend. The park will buzz with activity from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m.

"Due to the anticipated storms last weekend, the Fall Fireworks Festival is being moved to Saturday, Oct. 18. Same place and time," the borough announced on their Facebook page, according to NewsBreak. "Hopefully the weather will cooperate next weekend and we can see you all there."

At 8 p.m., bright bursts will light up the sky as fireworks shoot from the shoreline. Before the main show, visitors can try their luck at carnival games, sample treats from food stalls, and pick up handmade items from local artists.

Adults can sip wine and beer in a special section run by the Chamber of Commerce. Musicians will fill the air with tunes while kids dash between fun-filled activities scattered through the grounds.

A team of watchful protectors will stand guard. Local emergency staff, law officers, medics, and maintenance workers will ensure both safety and cleanliness throughout the celebration.

This marks another chapter in the shore town's autumn tradition. Small businesses, first responders, and residents come together, turning an ordinary night into something special.

Weather forecasts showing incoming storms prompted quick action from officials. Rather than risk a washout, they picked a date when clear skies seemed more likely.

The festival stays put at its original spot. Each booth, game, and performance will stick to the planned layout in the park.
