Def Leppard guitarist Vivian Campbell recently missed some shows with the band due to ongoing treatment for Hodgkin's lymphoma, which he was first diagnosed with in 2013. Campbell issued a statement to offer fans details about his current health.

In the statement shared via Def Leppard's social media channels, Campbell said, "Thank you for all the recent messages and support. As you all may know, I was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s lymphoma several years ago. I recently had a bone marrow transplant as part of my treatment plan, and it’s safe to say that thus far it’s been a very successful transplant!"

He added, "I just have to keep my head down and my spirits up for the next 100 days of primary recovery." Campbell signed the statement, "A very happy Viv!"

Def Leppard's current performance schedule in 2025 is made up of many one-off shows and festival appearances, including Summerfest in Milwaukee on June 19. A full list of upcoming shows can be found at DefLeppard.com/Tour.
