Bob Odenkirk Takes on Hot Ones
Bob Odenkirk is a comedy legend, having gotten his start in the Chicago comedy scene, writing for Saturday Night Live, and of course as the co-creator of one of the greatest sketch comedy programs ever, Mr. Show with Bob and David. However of late Odenkirk has been better known for his dramatic turns in Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul, as well as the film Nobody and his upcoming series Lucky Hank.
Now facing the biggest challenge of his career to date, Odenkirk sits down across from Sean Evans to take up the gauntlet of increasingly spicy wings on Hot Ones. In the interview the two discuss Odenkirk’s comedy upbringing, memories of SNL and Chris Farley in particular and the “Matt Foley Motivational Speaker” sketch he wrote for Farley.
Odenkirk also shared one of his favorite Mr. Show sketches called “The Story of Everest,” which basically people either love or despise.
Although he claims to not eat of lot of wings generally, Odenkirk does an impressive job of speaking clearly as his insides roast. Enjoy the newest episode of Hot Ones!
