November 5, 2022: Philadelphia Union MLS Cup loss to Los Angeles Football Club
Last season Philadelphia Union made it to its first MLS Cup final in club history. Late in the game, trailing 2-1, Philadelphia scored to even the match and send it to extra time where after 120 minutes in the 5th minute of added time the Union took the lead, seemingly on the verge of sealing their first championship. Four minutes later Welsh international Gareth Bale, who had come into the game in the 97th minute, headed home the equalizer at the death to send it to penalty kicks, and that's where the Union's dreams died as they lost 3-0 on pens.

The last time the Phillies played Houston in the playoffs it was on their way to a World Series win in 1980. The hunt for World Series trophy number 3 continues for the Phillies.
February 12, 2022: Philadelphia Eagles Super Bowl loss to Kansas City Chiefs

TBD: Sixers and Flyers
The Philadelphia 76ers are sitting in third place in the east, just four points behind first place Boston. The playoffs are sure to be a lock, but can the Sixers make it all the way to the NBA Finals so they can make it 4/4? The good news for Philadelphia fans is that it s very unlikely that the Flyers will even make it to the NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs, let alone have a chance to blow another championship for the city. So you have that going for you, which is nice.
