For many years Fulham was America's team in the English Premier League, with U.S. born talent like Brian McBride, Clint Dempsey, Kasey Keller, Carlos Bocanegra, and currently Tim Ream and Antonee Robinson. Well what was once referred to as "Fulhamerica" may be replaced by Leeds United States of America or Major Leeds Soccer, as a fifth American has joined the club this week.

USMNT midfielder Weston McKennie has completed a move from Juventus in Serie A, joining fellow Americans and USMNT teammates Tyler Adams and Brendan Aaronson, as well as head coach Jesse Marsch and newly added assistant coach Chris Armas.

Incidentally, Aaronson is from Medford, NJ, Marsch went to college at Princeton, and Marsch, Armas, and Adams were all together at New York Red Bulls who play in Harrison, NJ. Jersey makes, the world takes!

The fact that are two coaches and three starters all at a single Premier League club is astounding, and virtually unthinkable even just a few short years ago. The development of players and coaches in this country should continue to produce top tier talent that will be in demand around the world.

Weston will no doubt be a hit with his teammates quickly, as long as they don't mind ranch on pizza.

McKennie could see his first action for Leeds this weekend as the club travels to Nottingham Forest. Coverage begins Sunday morning at 9 on USA network. Here some of his highlights from last season at Juve.
