My journey around the world with Paul Hollywood’s City Bakes continued with an episode that sparked a business idea for the shore! This time around Paul finds himself in Munich, Germany, as he goes off the beaten path the discover some incredible bakes and bakers.
The most fascinating thing in this episode is the revelation that there is essentially one bakery that provides those massive pretzels to beer and fest halls across Munich. Paul brings us down to the basement facility where it’s nothing but pretzels being turned out at an incredible rate. Beer halls will phone in their order and within two hours fresh pretzels are delivered for the patrons to soak up what they’ve been guzzling from those giant steins!
After watching this I decided I need to open a fresh pretzel delivery service for all the bars and restaurants around here. Who wants to take a field trip to Munich with me for research purposes?
