Cecily Strong wrapped up a decade at Saturday Night Live over the weekend, cementing her place as one of the greatest cast members SNL has ever had.
Strong joined SNL as a featured player in 2012, briefly co-hosting Weekend Update with Colin Jost before stepping aside for Michael Che so she could focus more on sketch and character work. And thank goodness she did, as Strong brought some terrific characters to the Update desk. One of those was Cathy Anne, who returned last night to say goodbye – before she went to jail.
