Every weekday, I'm going to drop a song that I like to call the 4:20 HIT of the Day. What does this mean? Simply, it's a song that I think will give you some good vibes, 'spark up' nostalgia or just remind you about a tune that you might love but just haven't heard in a while.
Ok, today's HIT is strictly coming to you because I was watching "Weekend at Bernie's" last night. As soon as the opening credits start, you know you're in for a good time with Jermaine Stewart's "Hot & Cold."
Jermaine Stewart had a top 5 hit in 1986 with "We Don't Have To Take Our Clothes Off", but was never really able to duplicate that success into another pop single. In 1987, he reached #27 on the Billboard Hot 100 with "Say It Again", but that was his last charting song. In 1989, Stewart sang "Hot and Cold", co-written by Andy Summers of The Police, which was featured over the opening credits of the film "Weekend at Bernie's."
And now, a video that celebrates the highlights of "Weekend at Bernie's" while you enjoy "Hot & Cold."
