As previously reported, the doc was directed by Mary Wharton and produced by Peter Afterman. The bulk of the film is comprised of a newly discovered archive of 16mm film showing Tom Petty at work on his 1994 record Wildflowers. The film premiered at this year's online SXSW Festival. The film also was screened in select theaters last month.
