Stevie Wonder Launches Own Label And Releases New Music
Stevie Wonder made several announcements today (October 13) during a virtual press conference.
The 70-year-old revealed he has left Motown and is moving on to his own imprint under Republic Records. Wonder also gifted fans with two new songs, “Where Is Our Love Song,” and “Can’t Put It In The Hands of Fate.”
According to Billboard, all of the proceeds from Wonder’s first single will benefit Feeding America. It is the first of new music to be released by the music legend in 15 years.
Wonder has been on hiatus since last summer when he had revealed that he needed a kidney transplant. Today, he gave a health update telling Billboard, “I have a donor and it’s all good.”
