Uber wants to make sure you are registered to vote and have a ride on Election Day.
Uber currently has an in-app feature that allows users to register to vote.
The deadline to register to vote in the November General Election is October 13 for New Jersey residents.
“As we look ahead to this year’s election, we are committed to doing our part to make sure every citizen has access to vote,” Uber’s CEO Dara Khosrowshahi said in a press statement.
The ride-sharing platform is encouraging people to register to be poll workers due to the shortage caused by COVID-19.
Uber will also help people find their polling places and offer free or discounted rides on Tuesday, November 3.
