Toms River Halloween Parade 2020 Canceled
The Toms River Vol. Fire Co. No. 1 announced today (July 9) that the 2020 Toms River Halloween Parade has been canceled.
The decision was made by the Fire Company for the safety of the community and all first responders involved with the parade due to the coronavirus pandemic.
“Even though the curve has straightened out a little bit the risk is still at a high with the magnitude of people that crowd in the downtown area we feel this is the best decision,” Toms River Vol. Fire Co. No. 1 shared to Facebook. “This will be the 3rd time in history of the parade being CANCELED.”
The 2021 Halloween Parade is se for October 30, 2021 due to Halloween being on Sunday next year.
If any residents have questions or concerns they are encouraged to reach out to Lt. Carl Weingroff or Ken Beck, Parade Chair.
