Borough Of Point Pleasant Beach Ready For Broader Reopening May 29
It was determined that the proper pieces are now in place for an opening of the Borough of Point Pleasant Beach boardwalk and northern beaches on Friday, May 29th.
Restaurants will be open for takeout only while the rides, games, and amusements will remain closed by the order of Governor Phil Murphy.
In addition, there will be social distancing ambassadors along portions of the boardwalk with sanitizing stations set up at every beach access point.
“Like every decision we make, these measures are subject to change if the COVID-19 situation does,” Mayor Paul M. Kanitra said. “We encourage all guests to take social distancing very seriously and help us create the safest environment on the Jersey Shore.”
