New Jersey Students Launch ‘How To Sports And More’ To Help Stop COVID-19
Two fifth graders attending The Rumson Country Day School located in Rumson, New Jersey have impacted their communities in unexpected ways throughout the coronavirus pandemic.
Michael Malia and Andrew Rodrigues, two eleven-year-olds, were empowered by their teacher to create their very own passion project called How To Sports And More. Along the way, they decided to create instructional sports videos to get kids off the screen and outside.
The videos approved by their parents also turned them to the idea of launching an online store with merchandise. Among the list are t-shirts, hats, mugs, hoodies, iPhone cases, and much more.
“We are donating all the profits we make to help those affected by covid-19, the doctors, or the medical professionals,” Malia shared. “If you buy one of our products, you will not only be getting a piece of high quality merchandise for a low price, you will be helping to stop covid-19.”
In addition, How To sports And More is now taking submissions for those that would like to have their videos featured on their YouTube channel. You can also follow their journey on Instagram @how_to_merch.
