Storm Takes Roof Off Of New Jersey Marina

Severe storms and high wind gusts swept across New Jersey today (April 13). The weather left many with property damage including a Jersey Shore marina.

A video posted to Facebook shows the roof of All Action Water Sports being completely ripped off. The company located in Somers Point has been in business for over 30 years.

Parts of the state saw up to a recorded 82 miles per hour winds throughout the day.

According to Weather.com, the storm today was caused by a powerful low-pressure system moving across the Great Lakes. The high winds also resulted in a widespread of power outages as well as tree damage.
