Toms River Police Department Is ‘Keepin It Local’ Amid COVID-19 Pandemic
The Toms River Police Department has launched a new initiative and they’re keepin it local. Beginning this Thursday (March 26), the Toms River PBA, Toms River FOP, and Toms River Police Foundation are joining forces to help support their residents and local businesses.
If you are in need, you will have the opportunity to pick up one of the 300 pre-purchased large pizzas while supplies last. The pizzeria locations include Brooklyn Square Pizza, Charlie’s Pizza & Restaurant, Capones Gourmet Pizza and Pasta House, Giampapa’s Pizza, Al’s Pizza, and Positano Restaurant Fine Italian Cuisine.
“We are here for our community to support our residents and our local businesses,” TRPD shared to Facebook. “Stay safe, stay smart, and stay strong! #KeepinItLocal”
Toms River residents will be given one pizza per family and they must mention “TRPD Pizza Pies” when ordering. The Toms River Police Department gives thanks to their brothers and sisters at the Lacey PBA for initiating this program.
