New Jersey Marathon & Half Marathon Postponed Until November
The 2020 Novo Nordisk New Jersey Marathon and Half Marathon have officially been postponed until November 14 and 15. The event which takes place in Long Branch, New Jersey was originally scheduled for April 25 and 26.
“We want to thank all participants and the incredible community of athletes that supported our decision to postpone our event schedule,” NJM stated. “Your safety is, and always will be, our top priority.”
If you’re interested in registering for one of the races, the current fee is $140.00 with a price increase starting on April 19 at 11:59 p.m. ET. The Novo Nordisk New Jersey Marathon offers complimentary race entry for qualified runners and a 10% entry discount for active duty military and retired military.
All full marathoners must complete the course with a chip time of 6 hours and 30 minutes or less while half marathoners must be prepared to complete within 3 hours and 15 minutes or less.
Runners will have the opportunity to celebrate their achievements this fall with a post-race finish festival featuring entertainment, a complementary beverage, and ocean views.
