Nile Rodgers is one of music’s most prolific producers, having worked with an incredibly diverse roster of artists, from Diana Ross to Mick Jagger to Duran Duran, but one of his biggest musical contributions is his work on David Bowie’s massive 1983 album Let’s Dance.
In honor of Rodgers’ birthday today (September 19), we look back at the clip below from a Village Recording Studios event during 2015’s Grammy Week where he talks about how the Let’s Dance title track came to be.
