Today (September 5th) would have been Freddie Mercury's 73rd birthday. He passed away on November 24th, 1991 at the age of 45 from bronchial pneumonia resulting from AIDS.
As was re-created in "Bohemian Rhapsody", one of the greatest live performances (not only for Queen and Freddie, but ALL performances) happened during Live Aid and the band's 20+ minute set.
