Ringo Starr, Beach Boys Sing a Beatles Favorite
2019 marks the 30th anniversary of Ringo and His All Starr Band and they’ve hit the road for a tour.
On August 3rd and 4th, the Beach Boys were the opening act. On the first of those two shows, Ringo welcomed Mike Love & Bruce Johnston to the stage, joining Ringo and the band for “With a Little Help From My Friends.” Watch it below.
The 2019 edition of the All Starr Band features Toto’s Steve Lukather, Men at Work’s Colin Hay, Santana and Journey’s Gregg Rolie, Warren Ham, Gregg Bissonette and the return of All Starr alumnus Hamish Stuart.
“Is anybody coming out?” asked Ringo, as they were about to conclude the August 3rd concert. “We nearly added two guests, but they’ve gone back to bed.” Love and Johnston arrived.
