Fleetwood Mac Replacing Rolling Stones at New Orleans Jazz Fest
The Rolling Stones will be on the shelf for a bit of time while Mick Jagger recovers from heart valve replacement surgery, which means someone will have to step in on their festival tour dates.
Enter Fleetwood Mac.
The New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival has just announced that Fleetwood Mac has been added to the festival’s 50th anniversary lineup on May 2. Tickets are on sale now at Ticketmaster.com.
The New Orleans Advocate reports that fans who originally bought tickets to May 2 to see the Stones instead of Fleetwood Mac can obtain a full refund on all premium and general admission tickets. Those with weekend VIP passes will also receive a partial refund.
The New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival is taking place April 25-28 and May 2-5. Other artists on the bill include Jimmy Buffett & The Coral Reefer Band, Santana, Van Morrison, Al Green, Earth, Wind & Fire, John Fogerty, Gladys Knight, Chaka Khan, Herbie Hancock, Tom Jones, Bonnie Raitt, The Doobie Brothers, The O’Jays, Jerry Lee Lewis, Buddy Guy and many more.
