Johnny Rotten and Marky Ramone provided a lovely trainwreck during a panel discussion at screening in West Hollywood in honor of the upcoming Epix docuseries Punk.

In addition to Rotten and Ramone, the NSFW language panel also featured Henry Rollins, Duff McKagan, L7’s Donita Sparks and Punk producer John Varvatos. Rotten appeared to be in rare form going after nearly everyone on the panel, but he saved his harshest words for Ramone.

“He’s not even an original Ramone,” said Rotten. Ramone shot back, “But I did the Blank Generation album with Richard Hell, and you took his image. All you guys [the Sex Pistols] took Richard Hell’s image. That’s all you did...and Sid Vicious was the star.”  Rotten then replied, “That’s right, he was. He was the star for a--hole fake idiots like you. Enjoy your drugs and f-ckin’ have a happy death.”

McKagan, who from just the videos of the panel on the Epix Instagram really couldn’t get a word in edgewise, summed up the awkwardness in a photo on his Instagram with the caption, “Last night was, uh, interesting. Good luck to @johnvarvatos and @iggypopofficial on their new doc 'PUNK' on @epix.”

Punk premieres on Epix on March 11. A trailer for the four-part docuseries can be seen below.
