When Paul McCartney announced the initial dates of his 2018 “Freshen Up” tour, the 76-year-old expressed interest in playing some club dates, to get back to the intimacy of performing before a few hundred fans.

The “Freshen Up” tour will also be his first outing following the release of his new studio album, Egypt Station, coming Sept. 7 on Capitol Records. As of July 23, the tour consists of 12 dates in Canada, the U.K., Poland and Austria. The U.K. dates sold out almost instantly.
