VIDEO: Pink Floyd Release Rare Video For “Apples and Oranges”

Pink Floyd went way back in their vaults for a recent video uploaded to their YouTube page.

The 1967 promotional clip for “Apples and Oranges” can be viewed below.  The track with the band’s third single in the U.K. and was the final song Syd Barrett had written with Pink Floyd.

The video, itself, was featured on the 2016 Pink Floyd box set The Early Years 1965-1972.  So far, no other archival videos have been uploaded, but here’s hoping that will change, because it’s certainly fascinating to see the early beginnings of a band like Pink Floyd.

Pink Floyd - Apples and Oranges

"Apples and Oranges" is the third United Kingdom single by Pink Floyd, released in 1967. It was the final song written by Syd Barrett with the group. After David Gilmour replaced Syd Barrett, the band recorded a promotional video in Belgium in a fruit market with Roger Waters lip-synching to the song.
