The Jackson family is mourning the loss of Joe Jackson today.
TMZ is reporting Joe passed away overnight, in the early hours of the morning.
At the time of his passing, he was 89.
In recent months, Joe spent a lot of time in and out of the hospital as he battled cancer.
As you know, Joe managed his children, who were affectionately known as The Jackson 5.
We would later go on to manage Janet and Michael’s careers, as they ventured down solo paths.
Joe, who was often criticized for being too harsh on his children, defending his parenting style and said he gave his kids a strong foundation, which quite possibly kept them on the right track and kept them from ending up behind bars.
