Gov. Murphy Signs NJ Sports Betting Law With First Bets Taken Thursday 6/14
Get ready to “place your sports bets” in New Jersey.
Gov. Phil Murphy on Monday signed a law that authorizes legal sports betting in New Jersey, both online and at the state’s casinos, racetracks, and former racetracks.
Monmouth Park is planning to become the first location in the state to accept bets, starting Thursday June 14th at 10:30am.
New Jersey is now the second state besides Nevada to authorize sports betting. Delaware legalized sports betting in the beginning of June.
