Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City announced the former Taj Mahal property will reopen June 28, with a focus on entertainment over gaming.
"When we announced that we were going to step in the AC gaming market, we had a different view point," said Hard Rock Chairman Jim Allen. "It's not about gaming, it's about entertainment."
The former Taj Mahal was completely refurbished with all rooms and restaurants demolished and redesigned. The casino will have more than 2,100 slot machines and 120 table games. The Mark G.
