Concert For George Set For Reissue
In honor of what would have been George Harrison’s 75th birthday, the 2002 tribute concert Concert For George, which featured performances from Eric Clapton, Jeff Lynne, Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers and many more, will be reissued in multiple formats on February 23. All formats are available for pre-order at ConcertForGeorge.com.
Stephen Stills Taps Big Names For Autism Benefit Show
After taking last year off, Stephen Still’s “Light Up The Blue” show benefitting Autism Speaks is back and with some major names.
Per Rolling Stone, Neil Young, Burt Bacharach, Judy Collins, Sheryl Crow, Christina Applegate and Jack Black are on the bill. The show will also feature a house band comprised of Heartbreakers guitarist Mike Campbell, drummer Steve Ferrone and keyboardist Benmont Tench, which will be their first public performance together since Tom Petty’s passing in October 2017.
