Elton John Announces Final Vegas Residency Shows
Elton John is bringing his long-running relationship with the Colosseum at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas to a close.
John has announced 14 final performances of his “The Million Dollar Piano” show, which will run April 28-May 10. In a statement, Caesars Palace President Gary Selesner says that, “For over a decade, Elton John and his band have graced the stage at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace, performing all the hits that have defined a generation. Elton John’s residency at The Colosseum has set the standard for those all that have followed. We are incredibly grateful to Elton for allowing Caesars Palace to be the home for his 450 memorable performances.”
John began playing at The Colosseum during February of 2004 with his show “The Red Piano,” before launching “The Million Dollar Piano” during September of 2011. He’s played to more than 1.8 million fans there during that time. Tickets for the final shows go on sale at 1 p.m. ET on Sunday, October 22.
