Important App For Those In The Path Of Hurricane Irma

If you know someone that lives in Florida that is not taking part in the evacuations, please encourage them to download the Zello app on their phone.

There was a massive uptick in the app's use after Hurricane Harvey in Texas and it works over wi-fi, even if the cellular network goes down.  Granted, if you lose power and don't have wi-fi or cellular network, this won't work.  But it's MUCH better to be prepared and take as many precautions as possible.

Zello is, in its simplest explanation, a "walkie-talkie" app that allows you to keep in touch via wi-fi OR cellular network.  Read more about it here.
