Rumor: Def Leppard/Journey Tour Could Be Happening in 2018

Despite fractious infighting, it appears Journey is already looking at touring plans for 2018 -- with former tour mate Def Leppard.

The two groups last hit the road together during 2006, when Jeff Scott Soto was fronting Journey the year before the group found its current singer Arnel Pineda. Now insiders tell us that the two bands plan to hit the road again next year, while Journey bassist Ross Valory hinted at the same recently and Def Lep guitarist dropped a hint during a Canadian radio interview, saying "I know that nothing is set in stone but negotiations are going on and one of the acts we're talking about touring with next year could possibly be Journey...(It's) not the only thing in the works, but I know we are trying to put together a big tour for next year."

Both acts are currently on the road, with Journey also set to be part of The Classics shows in Los Angeles and New York this month. The rumor comes in the wake of Journey guitarist Neal Schon's harsh social media attacks on bandmates Valory and Jonathan Cain, although it's been awhile since he's posted anything inflammatory.
