‘Sgt. Pepper’s’ Doc Set To Air On PBS

Beatles fans in the U.S. will be able to see the new documentary about Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band that's been prepared for the legendary album's 50th anniversary.

PBS will air Sgt. Pepper's Musical Revolution at 8 p.m. EST on June 3, along with several encore showings. According to the announcement, the film will feature "extracts from material never before accessible outside of Abbey Road studio" including photographs, snippets of conversation between the band members and producer George Martin, isolated vocal and instrumental tracks and more.

The special will follow the May 26 release of expanded deluxe editions of the albums feature unreleased and other rare material.
