Guns N' Roses and The Who will make for strange musical bedfellows this fall in South America.
The two will play a series of shows together on the continent, starting September 23 as part of the Rock In Rio festival in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil and again on October 1 for a stadium date in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Reports indicate that The Who and GNR will be announcing more dates in Brazil, Peru and Chile.
Both groups will be playing plenty of their own dates before that: GNR begins another European leg of its “…Not In This Lifetime” tour on May 27 in Dublin, Ireland; and The Who begins a short North American run on July 13 at the Festival D'ete de Quebec in Quebec City and has a six-show stand at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace starting July 29.
