VIDEO PLAYLIST: Eric Clapton At Rock Hall Induction Ceremonies

The legendary Eric Clapton turns 72 today (March 30), and out of all of his accolades, he’s the only musician to be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame three times (With The Yardbirds in 1992, with Cream in 1993 and as a solo artist in 2000.)

Considering the 2017 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony is just around the corner, we figured we’d honor Slowhand by taking a look at some of his best performances at the famed ceremony over the years.

2005 – With B.B. King and Buddy Guy Performing “Let Me Love You Baby”

B.B. King, Buddy Guy and Eric Clapton Live in 2005

Buddy Guy was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2005 by friends, fellow Hall of Fame Inductees and blues guitar heroes B.B. King and Eric Clapton. That trio then performed "Let Me Love You Baby" in a knockout blues showcase where the mutual admiration and camaraderie was palpable and the charged playing singularly evocative.
