People being upset about an upcoming Alice Cooper concert seems a bit passé, but at least Barb Church doesn’t seem upset about another potential “chicken incident.”
Per SouthernMinnesotaNews.com, Church spoke before the North Mankato City Council and express concern about Cooper’s and other upcoming shows at Vetter Stone Amphitheater. She lives near the amphitheater and says the noise makes her and her neighbors feel “virtually tortured almost every single weekend.”
She also touched on the content of the songs sung by artists performing soon stating, “Having now looked up the lyrics…I don’t think it’s wise for our community to have to listen to foul language. I don’t think we have to listen to things about suicide.”
Cooper has since addressed Church’s concerns via Facebook, and surprise, his response was brilliant. On the plus side: It has to feel nice that after performing for decades, Cooper can still find a rise out of people.
