Here's a rundown of what's in the Pop Culture news this morning, corralled and curated for your viewing pleasure!
"Aunt Viv" Takes A Metaphorical Swing At Jada Pinkett-Smith On Oscar Boycott
Fresh Prince of Bel Air co-star Janet Hubert dropped the gloves, so to speak by starting her opinion off at "First of all, Miss Thing, does your man not have a mouth of his own with which to speak?" Then she dug into the fact that Jada and Will are holding onto the ideal that they should have been nominated, when there's so many other things going wrong with the world. She also says the following, according to E! in her four minute video (which we won't add here - some explicit language):
"And here's the other thing, for you to ask other actors, and other black actresses and actors, too, to jeopardize their career and their standing in a town that you know damn well you don't do that. And here's the other thing—they don't care. They don't care! And I find it ironic that somebody who has made their living, made their living and made millions and millions of dollars from the very people you're talking about boycotting just because you didn't get a nomination, just because you didn't win."

Beyonce Spotted Rehearsing For Coldplay's Super Bowl Spot
According to E!, a load of people showed up as Beyonce had been spotted leaving from a rehearsing spot for this year's Super Bowl. People screamed, they probably cried. Either way, if you weren't geeked already to see Bey dance it out with Chris Martin, you should be now.
Linda Perry Goes On Twitter Rant For Lady Gaga's Oscar Nom, Apologizes
Who knows what got Linda Perry riled up the other night, but she went on a series of very poignant Twitter explosions against Lady Gaga's nomination with Diane Warren, saying that Gaga didn't write any of the song, but changed 1 line. The Hollywood Reporter shared the thoughts from Linda as follows:
"... Diane knew If she gave Gaga writing credit it would ensure the support this song needed and deserved. And Gaga knows her power. I'm not putting anyone Or anything down. I'm stating the truth. I credit Diane for writing this song, it is her experience her pain her words. That's it kids."
She later backpedaled, most likely because her song wasn't nominated this year, and "apologized."
My sincere apologies. I made a mistake to comment. I wasn't in the room when the #TIHTY was being written.

Hopefully Linda learned the lesson that "the internet never forgets."
David Schwimmer Bummed About Matthew Perry's Lack Of Attendance
David made sure to point out that this honoring of James Burrows was NOT ever an actual Friends reunion, but is still bummed that Matthew Perry will not be attending the show. He told E! that "Sure I'm sad, but I'm happy for him, he's doing a play in London and it's thrilling."
